The purposes of a human heart are deep waters, but the one who has insight draws them out. Proverbs 20:5

Is Soul Story for me?

Soul Story offers counselling, teaching and resources for individuals, churches and leaders seeking wisdom for life, relationships and faith.

Individuals

Personal counselling and couples counselling, helping people reflect honestly on their lives, relationships and the deep waters of the heart.

Churches

In-person seminars that your church can host, and webinars that you can attend from the comfort of your own home. Helping people think biblically and wisely about marriage, parenting, technology, forgiveness, and emotional well-being.

Leaders

One-to-one mentoring, leadership cohorts and theology days, supporting leaders in the personal and theological challenges of leadership.

The problem

Life is full of moments we never feel quite ready for.

The gap nobody talks about

You know what the Bible says about marriage. You're less sure what to do on a Tuesday night when you and your spouse can't seem to stop arguing.

You believe children are a gift from God. You just have no idea why yours won't open up to you.

You trust that God is sovereign. That doesn't stop the anxiety waking you at 3am.

Soul Story brings together
Theology & Therapy into everyday life, connecting the biblical truth you believe with the reality you live.

The solution

Knowing ourselves.
Loving God.
Living wisely together.

Sometimes people reach out when life becomes difficult — a marriage is strained, anxiety grows heavy, or leadership feels overwhelming.

Most of us wait for those moments before seeking help. Soul Story exists not only for times of crisis, but to help people move further upstream — cultivating spiritual health and resilience before problems take root.

The work of Soul Story centres on three movements

  • Knowing ourselves

Understanding the deeper desires, fears, and patterns shaping the human heart.

  • Loving God

Getting a fresh glimpse of Christ that inspires us to love God and others.

  • Living wisely together

Learning healthier ways to relate, lead, and live faithfully in the messiness of everyday life.
